Manager of Financial Strategic Planning

Position Overview:
The Manager of Financial Strategic Planning is responsible for supporting the CFO's larger vision around system strategy and solutions and making the CFO a stronger and more effective leader by handling duties focused on making time, information, communication, and decision processes more effective.
The Manager of Financial Strategic Planning is responsible for creating strategies for communication and synergy across departments, and identifying larger system needs.
The Manager of Financial Strategic Planning will oversee strategic financial initiatives from development through successful execution under the guidance of the CFO and other senior leadership.

Essential Functions:
Support the CFO's larger vision around system strategy and solutions and add value to the CFO's vision.
Manage the CFO's workflow and priorities by anticipating essential next steps.
Ensure critical, high priority CFO work assignments are successfully completed in a high quality, time-sensitive manner.
Oversee duties that include time management, information flow, communication, and decision-making processes.
Problem solves at a high level and anticipate departmental needs.
Identify, spearhead, and lead special financial projects.
Facilitate agendas and meetings and conduct necessary follow-up.
Contribute to discussions around operational decisions and changes to the finance department.
Ensure collaboration with executive team members to determine and prioritize financial strategies.
Develop and implement strategies and feedback loops for increasing communication across the division and organization as a whole.
Work cross-departmentally and able to identify and troubleshoot larger system needs.
Make recommendations around how to align around common goals and objectives.
Work closely with the CFO to create synergy and work streams across the Senior Directors.
Facilitate workgroups, lead meetings for the CFO, and be a stand in for the CFO.
Plan, coordinate, and keep contents of a meeting focused.
Provide supervision to the Senior Administrative Coordinator.
Manage related reinvestment plans and special contracts.
Support the CFO in the development and implementation of policies for departments the CFO oversees.
Prepare policy briefings, talking points, presentations, and proposals for internal and external meetings.
Draft and edit various documents including internal/external correspondence.
Conduct and assemble research, track other program models, and generate ideas on a variety of topics.

Master's degree in Business, Public Health, Healthcare or Public Administration, or Social Services related field License/Certification:

Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of post-graduate experience with progressively responsible work experience Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills Able to read, analyze and interpret utilization reports Understanding of mental health and substance abuse services or interventions Strong problem-solving skills Proficient in MS Office and able to type at least 20 words per minute Flexible and able to adjust to evolving needs.
